Australian STEM Competitions/Challenges

Science Engineering Challenge
The Science Engineering Challenge is a nationwide STEM outreach program presented by the University of Newcastle in partnership with communities, Rotary clubs, universities and sponsors.


International STEM Competitions/Challenges

The Spellman Clean Tech Competion focuses on the need to solve global environmental challenges through scientific methodology and innovative thinking among high school students. It is a world wide competition open to all 15 - 18 year old secondary students from any nation in the world.

Time frame:
September - topic advertised for the current competition
November - registration opens
March the following year - entries close
Entrants are short listed to the final 20 and then short listed further to 10
Mid June - the final 10 short listed teams are invited to present their paper/research at Stony Brook University, New York, USA in July.
